I know what you're about to say. That this reminds you of Dr. Octavius from Spiderman. Actually, the extentions were inspired by the sentinals from The Matrix. This is the prototype Cyber Armor design I was toying with. The armor is very advanced. The extentions have a plasma emiter that can be reconfigured to support various functions. Such fire modes include: Single pulse, rapid fire, pulse charge, focused beam, and scatter bolt. There are micro-rockets lodged in the arm gauntlets and can be launched by simply moving your fingers a specific way. On the back are a number of sensors and a pair of thrust nozzles, allowing the wearer to fly at lower altitudes. The helmet relays all kinds of information to the wearer and grants them a number of visual aids. Electro-magnetic plates are set in the soles of the boots to allow for the user to adhere to surfaces other than the floor. Alone, the armor will protect against a number of threats but there are still a number of vulnerabilities. So, a particle shield is implimented to compensate for these vulnerabilities. But, even the shield has it's limits. A user is instructed to take advantage of the armor's agility rather than relying on the shields. It is very similar to Mjolnir Armor, for those of you who are familliar with Halo. More details later. Enjoy.
